- Where does the company data come from?
- Directly from the Companies House public register through their official API. That includes company name, number, status, registered office address, SIC codes and current officers.
- Where do the contact details come from?
- Public web sources. We find and verify the company's own website, then read its contact, about and team pages for emails, phone numbers, LinkedIn profiles and named people. Public business directories are used as a fallback.
- What if no contact details are found?
- The fields stay empty and the lead is marked as unverified. We never guess an email address from a name pattern, and an AI credit is only charged when research actually returns something.
- How accurate are the results?
- Each result carries a confidence rating and a note saying where the detail came from. Details are checked back against the company name and registered postcode before they are saved, so weak matches are rejected rather than imported.
- Is this GDPR compliant?
- The register is published under the Open Government Licence and business contact details are collected from public sources. You remain the data controller for your outreach, so you need a lawful basis — usually legitimate interests for B2B — and must honour opt-outs and include your identity in every email. CompaniesHouseLeads.com does not send email on your behalf.
- Does CompaniesHouseLeads.com send the emails?
- No. We generate the drafts and you copy or export them and send from your own inbox, so replies come back to you and your existing sending reputation is used.
- Is CompaniesHouseLeads.com connected to Companies House?
- No. CompaniesHouseLeads.com is an independent product that uses the free public Companies House API. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Companies House or HM Government.
- Can I export my leads?
