Terms of Service

1. These terms

These terms form a contract between you and CompaniesHouseLeads.com. By creating an account you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to do so.

2. The service

We let you search the Companies House public register, research publicly available business contact details, score and organise leads, and generate outreach email drafts.

Contact details such as email addresses, phone numbers and website pages are found using automated AI and web research. The AI reads public web pages and attempts to extract the most likely contact details for the company you searched.

We do not send email on your behalf. Drafts are provided for you to copy into your own email account.

3. Accounts

You must give accurate registration details, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts are for the named organisation and its users; do not share access outside your plan limits.

4. Plans, credits and billing

• Plans are billed monthly in pounds sterling in advance and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI credits. One credit is spent when contact research returns a result, and one when an email draft is generated. Research that returns nothing is not charged.
• Unused credits do not roll over to the next month.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Access continues until the end of the paid period. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for part months except where required by law.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not use the service to contact consumers or to send unlawful, misleading or unsolicited bulk email in breach of UK GDPR or PECR.
• Do not resell, scrape or bulk-export the service output as a standalone data product.
• Do not attempt to bypass credit limits, rate limits or authentication, or disrupt the service.
• Do not use the service for any unlawful, harassing or discriminatory purpose.

6. Data accuracy

Company records come from the Companies House public register. Contact details are researched from public web sources using automated AI and may include inferred or extracted data.

AI-researched contact details are not guaranteed to be correct, complete or current. A result may show an email, phone number or web page that belongs to a related business, a directory listing, or an outdated source. We display these details with a confidence rating to help you judge their reliability.

You are responsible for verifying any contact details before you rely on them or send outreach.

AI output such as scores, summaries and email drafts may also be inaccurate. Review every draft and score before acting on it.

7. Your responsibilities as a sender

You are the data controller for your outreach. You must have a lawful basis, identify yourself in every message, honour opt-outs, and comply with UK GDPR and PECR. You indemnify us against claims arising from your outreach.

8. Intellectual property

We own the service, its software and its branding. You own the lead records and content in your account, and you grant us the licence needed to host and process them to provide the service.

9. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Third-party sources including Companies House, AI providers and web research providers may impose rate limits or downtime outside our control.

10. Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Otherwise we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost data or indirect loss, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that puts the service or third-party sources at risk. You can close your account at any time.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will note the date below. Material changes take effect at your next renewal.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
